This kid and Derick Mourning are legit despite their ranking and lack of offers. I wonder if he's playing inside or out becasue we seem to have several edge guys with potential on the roster but I don't see who's going to take over Fields and Schoolers snap in the middle.

What is left. Like the S position which cleared out early with MASS transfers, The top two LBs we had are gone. What is left?

While we will be thinner by far, we still have talent at LB.

https://arizonawildcats.com/sports/football/roster/jalen-harris/11019

https://arizonawildcats.com/sports/football/roster/dante-smith/11048

The top 5 are very good. After that there just isn't much.

Pandy is on par with Schooler and Fields. Harris is right there as well. What hurts is two fold. First is depth but the big one is the change to a 3-4 front. We are adding a spot at LB and losing our two best to transfer. Leaves us thin at LB and S.
Wilborn has had injuries, but is healthy and if he can duplicate his freshman year we will all be pleased.
Siaumau-Sanitoa will surprise when he hits the field. Guy is a real talent and a big hitter.
Clark seems to be a solid addition and we hope he is.
Smith is a walk on but not a bad player.

DL looks much improved and the staff may have to adjust to a 4-3 at time or be flexible enough to shift the players around at times.

I'm still not optimistic that we see any games this season...even if everything is delayed until the spring.

Guys like Schooler and Fields would have gone pro if they didn't get an opportunity to showcase their talents in conferences that "plan" to play in the Fall, so this is an opportunity for our younger kids to get nice first team reps in practice.

I'm hoping that guys like Harris, Clark, Smith, Mourning and Triplett are ready to go in the Fall of 2021.

Chris nailed this one.

Derick Mourning is looking good early.

From what I heard schools didnt think hed qualify. Otherwise hed likely been a top 500 recruit which I think he was when he initially committed until he received the Arizona treatment of dropping a couple hundred spots after committing.
