KansasCityCats

We have a REALLY deep group of WR's.  Unfortunately, they couldn't get the ball last year because our O-Line didn't give us enough time to run efficient routes.

With another year under the belt of our line, this team should be dangerous on offense...especially since Gunnell has practiced with this group for a second offseason.

Right KC. There were multiplebreasons for this break down.

The number one reason is that nearly every team we faced knew exactly what we were doing on any given play. Predictability by our staff is one reason for that player alignment and involvemnet is another. Again, predictability by our staff. The staff NOT using the talent we have in the right places is part of that. Hurry up O was a failure for this reason. Go back and watch the USC and Washington games from last year. Both teams knew the play before the ball was snapped.  RR could run the hurry up because he did not switch players out every play. CKS does thus the hurry up does not work. Blame Mazzone or Sumlin, but they are both to blame for pure ignorance.
Still more reasons but when the opponent has more raw talent and knows what you are doing before you snap the ball, it is really hard for you to be successful.
