Split pac-12 schedule is interesting. And too bad Miller only schedules cupcakes. He should try more

The SEC does it in football, the ACC does it in basketball.
This is good thing (to me) as it allows programs to get a break from the boring PAC-12 opponents for the next 8-10 weeks of the backend of the schedule.

This only works if Arizona wins.
Losing some of those lesser known games are going to run Arizona's RPI, and since it's SOS won't be elite, it is going to make that resume look bad unless they win some PAC-12 titles in 2021.

The possibility of playing 3 top 5 teams from this year seems legit to me...

...and none of the top-5 teams are playing in Tucson. Sounds like another cupcake schedule to me.

gonzaga, illinois, and michigan were all top 5 teams we have on our schedule. Not to mention the Maui tournament. Thats a crazy schedule

what? isnt it harder to play away games especially at Gonzaga and Illinois? how does not playing at McKale make it a cupcake schedule?

I was joking. I've always thought that Reynolds does a respectable job of scheduling OOC opponents.

It isn't anywhere near Lute's difficulty but our staff typically prepares the players for conference play.

MGM tourney is next season (2021-2022) with Wichita St, Michigan and/or UNLV, the following season is when we play in the Maui Inv
