Also, Steve Kerr is one of the greatest Wildcats of all time, and a very decent human being. When he was a Wildcat, living in our beloved Tucson, his father was killed in a terrorist attack in the Middle East because of supremacist ideology. Then he went out and played hoops a week later, led us to our first final four, won championships as a player and coach, and has led a peaceful life. He’s spoken out against violence and hateful ideologies. The idea that some people would come on to a U of A fan site to drag his good name in the dirt is just insane. Take your hatred somewhere else.

Hatred of country is worse than hatred of a sports figure at your alma matter 30 years ago.

Hey jumpinjohn and liquidated, just for clarification, are you able to rank your most favorite types of supremacy? Like, what types of supremacy do you value over your other forms of supremacy you’ve adopted? Is racial supremacy your favorite over religious supremacy? Are you more interested in gender supremacy than political ideology supremacy? Is financial supremacy your ultimate supremacy that you believe in? Can you list them in order of importance and the reasons why your preferred forms of supremacy dictate your worldview?

I can't speak of Johnny but I will for myself since you cannot actually offer anything to the debate - you are ad hominid, simply calling names or implying things that are not true. And this is really easy. Some ideas are better than others and the people with better ideas are, by definition, superior. In a nut shell, collectively, that is American exceptionalism – our ideas are better.

I am a western civilization, classic liberal democracy SUPREMECIST. Because it is the highest point of human evolution so far. Nothing else even comes close. You cannot compare the art, literature, science, enlightenment, health, wealth and happiness of western civilization with anything else in the entire world. That means I believe that everyone has the same rights, liberties and responsibilities, I believe in due process even for those who are not woke or politically correct and even though they want to stifle the very same liberties for me. In that, I am morally, intellectually and historically proven superior (a supremacist of you like). But the interesting thing about classic liberalism, is that it means nothing if it cannot be applied to all mankind (which, just in case you are totally ignorant, is NOT gender specific) so while the general belief system that america was founded with and that England (and later we) used to enlighten the world - IS SUPERIOR but cannot be called a ‘supremacist’ ideology because everyone is welcome at the table as long as they share the idea that everyone should be welcome at the table. Again, by definition, it is inclusive and there fore not a supremacist ideology.

Despite the fact that leftists now throw words around like 'white supremacists' and 'fascists', these ideologies are antithetical to conservative ideology and in fact are far more prevalent on the left - starting with those who use the terms the most. Political correctness is the ultimate form of Fascism. Virtue signaling about an issue is its own consdescending supremacy. ‘Safe spaces’ on college campuses are a suppression of free speech and of human liberty. Antifa's tactics are straight up good old fashioned brown shirt fascist. That would be the Nazi Brown Shirts (look it up if you do not know), Antifa's tactics are identical, spread fear and terrorize anyone espousing a different point of view.  Of ourse the Brown shirts were more honorable, they did not hide their faces while they rampaged. Nazi, BTW, was shortened from NDSP - which stood for National Democratic Socialist Party - a term you may recognize and an ideology that could only be implemented with fascist control of the population. There are GREAT people on the other side fighting Antifa (just as Trump said there were) who are not racist or white supremacists. Trump is easily the greatest single president in post WW2 history when it comes to supporting classic liberalism (he’s not the greatest president, but he is the greatest at supporting classic liberal democracy). He is totally transparent - we have a daily stream of consciousness from him, for better or worse and you cannot cite a single instance when he's been actually been 'racist' - only the media and lemmings regurgitating it have made that claim. The first person ever to win the white house with female campaign manager and who left a woman in charge of his empire, is somehow sexist. The single biggest private contributor to the holocaust museum and the guy who moved the US embassy to Jerusalem and who's grand children are jewish, is somehow anti-semitic. It does not square.  The guy who slapped heavier and heavier santions on Russia is a puppet of Putin…yea, right. Likewise he is not a racist or a white supremacist in any way and has no history whatsoever of ever being so.  Al Sharpton was his friend, for decades, until he ran for the presidency - and there is not a bigger anti-racist than Sharpton claims to be (he is, in fact a rverse racist POS).  Trump is not 'homophobic' - he supported gay marriage before any congressman or president - more than 30 years ago now – when Hillary was vimaently defending traditional marriage, Trump had already publically supported gay marriage for 20 years. He's done more for black unemployment and black youth unemployment than anyone before him and prison reform which is a huge issue in the black community, but somehow he's a white supremacist. Think about it. If the New York Times tells you he's a racist, you believe them? Despite the evidence of his actions, his well documented history and what he actually does? Soros paid protestors who wore KKK outfits were busted outside multiple campaign events... and the racist narrritve began depsite the admission of thise protesting that they were paid to wear that stuff and were not actually the KKK.  The Smollet hoax? The Air Force Academy Hoax, The Islamic women on election night in two different states who produced a hoax? All of these hoax 'racist' events and all of them blammed on Trump. Can you cite an actual racist event insprired or cheered on by Trump? Ever? Not the NY times – his actual comments or statements. Do you know how many times he has condemend racism in any form?

Just for the record, I did not vote for the loud mouthed idiot - primarily because of his comments about John McCain...I voted for the pot smoker from New Mexico who did not where Aleppo was. But now that it is clear that one side is hell bent on destroying due process (see: Brent Kavanugh hearings, Russia witch hunt, the new Russia witch hunt - or Ukraine or whatevr), freedom of speech, freedom of thought, subpoenaed evidence (Hillary, Comey, Brennan et al) I will be voting for anyone who can beat them at any level. They literally no longer believe in the our constitution (comments about what a problem the first amendment is from sitting US congresmen,  the entire second amendment, etc), the republic or respect for the office of the presidency or simple checks and balances in our government (Obama and Warren set up the CPB...wide ranging power to regulate banks that did not answer to the president or Congress.... WTF!!???  Fortunately the courts decided that one and were forced to follow the ocntituion in one of the now dozens of cases that Trump has won.

Liberty and democracy is being subverted from within, Trump is literally the last line of defense. Oh that and everyone who has any understanding at all of our constitution, history, laws and precedents.  If you want to call us all ‘supremcists’ that's fine, because our ideas are superior to maosim or venuzulana democratic socialism or the ‘social justice warriors’, Antifa tactics, shouting down speakers you disagree with, limiting human liberty and human rights, effective censorshiop by corrupt media, social media platforms…etc etc… Or you could just call us all ‘deplorable’ again, that worked so well last time coming from such a fascist, self-righteous, condescending __________ (word rhymes with ‘hunt’) .

He’s the Dukie V of the non-sports world.

Groping women and getting away with it.

Starting unnecessary social media fights at a kindergarten reading level, then never admitting defeat when proven wrong.

Perhaps one day our country can vote for a president they actually like, as opposed to the “lesser of two evils”. Not likely in my lifetime.

Unlike William Jefferson Clinton, who very likely got away with multiple rapes? One's the same as the other? I think not. I'm totally satisfied with the results of the last election, and suspect I will be again after the next. When you use the pronoun,"they" you actually meant the left, because it was the right who voted our President into office. The divide is wide, chasm wide. There will be no unifying force, no true "They." And I sure as fuck don't want to live in a country run by socialists, which is where the Democratic Party is headed. AOC and her gang are dangerous, and gaining power within their party at an alarming rate. The Green New Deal--Yeah, that's really doable, if we're willing to start a world-wide economic depression, making Venezuela's problems seem juvenile.

I don’t see the word “they” mentioned once in my post.

You're assuming that I love Bill Clinton because i think that Trump’s chauvinist past makes me a Democrat (although I respect the fact that he’s the only president to turn a major deficit into the black...which is more important than Twitter).

The problem is that we don’t live in a democracy. If the US is forced to vote for only two people, whose only differences are abortion/taxes, then there is no choice.

Issues like these tear a country apart, and it’s obvious because people who should be caring for each other on a basketball fan site immediately became rabid when the idea of our “democracy” came up.

One last post on this, then I'll drop it.

Look at line four, word eleven. In this instance, it was used incorrectly, should have been "it" to coincide with country. Nevertheless, there is no it or they, may never be again, and that reality has been building for decades. The differences are irreconcilable. I need point no further than the left's violent reaction to it's loss in the 2016 presidential election. Not all obviously, but too many. Hatred, violent, in-your-face hatred, belongs to the left, they own it. I'll use ANTIFA as a prime example, but they're not alone. Trump followers are mistreated, spit upon, beaten, most everywhere they have the temerity to express their opinions. The same is not true on the flip side. Progressives, by in large, are left in peace. They may be made fun of, but the last time I checked, being the brunt of a joke was not the same as being beaten with a crow bar.

Rant over.

I feel better.

Back to sports and our Wildcats.
