Looks like there's something going on with Shareef. UCLA has 6 commits including Shareef for it's 2018 class. The other 5 recruits have all signed there NLI's & O'neal is the only one who hasn't. I know that the now fired UCLA assistant coach Grace was a big reason why he chose UCLA after decommitting from UofA, so maybe that has something to do with it.  Has anyone heard anything else about this? Makes you wonder if he's thinking about coming back to Arizona.

I always got the vibe from Shareef that he wasn't nearly as "committed" to coming here as BWill was. So, I'd be a bit surprised if he left UCLA to come here. Not impossible, but I would be kinda shocked if we ever saw him in a UA uniform.

Not sure I would WANT him back since he bailed on Miller so fast.  Others are speculating that he may go the G league route.

Wow, he was a hard commit so it's definitely odd that he hasn't signed yet. Check out the screenshot below.

This kid is all over the place.
I believe I said if he left UCLA it would be for Oregon?
He seems content on staying in the PAC-12 at the moment, but outside of Arizona/Oregon/UCLA/USC, I donít see where his game would fit AND they have room for him.

Iíd welcome him back he wanted to come back to Arizona.
Right now, we still have four scholarship spots available, and I would bet Williams/Brown and Luther would be the first three should Miller get his pick.
Who would be the 4th?
Iím just saying..

I watched his highlights, and actually the only thing he really has going for him is his Dad in the stands.  Shaq in the stands will draw recruits and fans, but it will not win Championships.

Alford was quoted as saying hopefully they'll get one more signing talking about Shareef and rumor has it that O'Neal may change his mind again and go to Memphis with his dad's old buddy Penny Hardaway.

If OíNeal does go to Memphis, that would be clear he is trying to go where he could get his; nothing else.
He is worse than Momo Jones!

If Reef's last name was anything other than O'Neal, few people would even know who he is.  He's a decent ball player, nothing more.  I think he's good enough to play in the PAC but he's a 4-year type player.  Because of his dad, his talent/value is overrated by many.

While this may be true, most of us would love to see him as part of our class right now.
