This is no surprise.
I didn’t expect Romar to be leaving so soon, and for a program like Pepperdine.
I expected to lose him to a Power 5 job, or maybe a Mountain West job like a UNLV or SDSU type of program.
Oh well, that’s two new assistants that we will have next season.

I hope Miller can get some that can recruit..

Well, he wasn't really here long enough to even tell if he made a difference...maybe he did on the offensive end.  Hard to say.  I do wish him well in his new job and hope for nothing but the best for him.

Bear Down Romar!

I like Coach Romar.  Seems to have a good rapport with team and other coaches.  Especially enjoyed seeing his reaction after CATS won Pac 12 Tourney.  Wish him nothing but the best in the future.  A classy guy!

WILD was the first to tell us that Romar was hired as the head coach at Pepperdine & was putting his assistant coaches in place a week before anybody in the national media was reporting this. Just throwing that out there since it hadn't been mentioned in this post. Mad props to WILDcatAZfan for giving us the inside scoop before anyone else & always being right on the money. He's even told me some behind the scenes stuff that's going on that he couldn't put out there that's also come true. PPU is like PGU 2.0!
