DeAndre Ayton is the obvious choice for most exciting incoming player.  Let us know who of the incoming new players for 2017 you are most excited about & why.

I voted I.Lee on this one.
We know what each of the other three are going to bring in regards to their position and what part(s) of their game we expect them to contribute in.

Ira we don't REALLY know what we have in him.
He is what, 6'8 220lbs I believe and we have seen Miller use PFs at SF before (A.Gordon), but we don't really know what position(s) he is going to be getting the most minutes, where he is going to be contributing, etc.

I tend to like the rangy forward, combo-forwards Miller brings in because he is able to move them around to be able to maximize their impact on the game.
I am eager to see I.Lee carve out his role on this team and see how many minutes (if any) he is able to get this season.

Added Dylan Smith as he is often Overlooked, but may be a big contributor after redshirting last year.

Dylan Smith was UNC-Asheville’s leading scorer as a freshman in the 2015-16 season, averaging 13.5 points per game.

He also has some NCAA Tournament experience, as he scored 14 points in UNC Asheville’s first-round loss to Villanova, which of course went on to win the national championship.

Randolph - he is going to be a sparkplug off the bench, if his defense is on point he will see the floor a lot.

It looks like after the first Spain game Randolph is about to jump Akot for 1st place in our poll.  These next 2 games should tell us a lot more about this team.  I'm personally most excited to see Barcello play more because he just hustles & plays so hard. PJC is nice with the assists as he did have 7 of them with zero turnovers, but also had zero points.  Barcello might become the key as the season progresses.

Wildcat fans have spoken. Brandon Randolph is the player you are most excited about besides DeAndre Ayton. I truly believe that Randolph is going to be the best player on the court on many nights this season. He's definitely Kobi Simmons 2.0 in my book. I actually think that Randolph might end up doing so well that by the time December rolls around and Rawle comes back, Alkins might even have to be the 6th man or Co starter. I just have this gut feeling about Randolph being special. The only bad thing about that is that he's more than likely going to be a 1 & done.  We'll just have to enjoy him while he's here.

It could be interesting to see how Ira Lee develops this season.  I really believe he will be a very crucial element for this team.  We need a big man coming off the bench that is effective and can maintain post play.  Especially during foul trouble.

Lee's size was noticeable.  I believe he can develop nicely.

Always fun to revisit old topics. Lots of people chose Akot who has probably been the best and most consistent of the newbies even despite the injuries/tendinitis, maybe D Smith as he has had a couple nice games. Barcello hasn't developed like we hoped and Ira Lee is a fouling machine. Not sure what to make of Randolph but he has all the tools to be great next year just hasn't put it together this year on either end really.
