And which schools had player eligibility issues?
Yes that was in the wording!

List of schools who were named in FBI scandal.

Louisville, North Carolina State, Kansas, Arizona, LSU, USC, Oklahoma State, South Carolina and Auburn. TCU, Creighton, Miami, Alabama, and Clemson

There are quite a few more that have had reports come out about them but I'm not sure all these schools were mentioned in the trials. You'd have to think the NCAA will look into them though based on the reports that Yahoo released with pretty detailed info. The most complete list I found had: Arizona, Auburn, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Alabama, USC, NC State, Seton Hall, LSU, Maryland, Kentucky, Washington, Utah, Xavier, Kansas, Texas, San Diego State, Clemson, Wichita State, Michigan State. Oregon's name also came up in the trial as trying to pay Bowen but they aren't listed. Zion came up too but neither he nor Duke is listed. Not sure who else is missing.

Here's a breakdown of what each school was charged with, either in court or the media, but still should give an idea of how many programs will be investigated and what for plus a list of some players who could've taken money from agents.

Oregon came up in both trials... Remember Book (on wiretap) said Oregon bought Bol Bol for $200k. If you believe what he said about Miller, you gotta believe everything he said, including about Oregon and LSU.

NC State is the 1st school. This is Big news as the media would've gone into a frenzy if it was Arizona. All signs point to Louisville as being the next school announced. 5 more schools to go.

Notice this benefits event lasted for an entire school year plus and this player was deemed ineligible and this was not a self reported violation.

In comparison we have no player deemed ineligible, and the event only lasted three months. the school fired Book as soon as it was discovered. The school fired Phelps as soon as it knew as well, and self reported the event. The test scores issue has yet to be resolved because it was an unconfirmed accusation in which the player was never deemed in eligible and the player was accepted into a school with higher admission standards without a problem. I do not see where that issue can be called a violation as nothing was done to make an ineligible player eligible. I do not see us as next, or even in the mix of the first 5-6 schools addressed.

Just noticed CBS removed the part about schools with eligibility issues being hit first. Check out the editor's note at the bottom.

Haha.  Nice catch.  I bet the NCAA retracted their statement to CBS when they realized that a few of the programs didn't have eligibility issues...maybe they are lurking on PPU.

If it's true that Book did this in this off season in a different state, how is Coach Miller supposed to know this?  Is he supposed to hire spies to follow all of his coaches during the off season?  It would appear that any punishment to the UofA/Coach Miller/the Wildcat Basketball team would be for something they had absolutely NO control over or any way of knowing what happened until they were informed it happened.
The way I see it, under these circumstances, they should only get punished if they were told/found out about it and didn't do anything about it until it was too late.  This didn't happen according to all I've read about his incident.  There shouldn't be ANY punishment for the UofA & staff.

Can't disprove a negative...

It is also not possible to prove that Miller did not know what Book was up to. Miller's right hand man for a decade and more...they probably talked in the off-season, like every day. They are still 'working' in the off season.

So to say that no one should be punished...has no basis in facts that are known. We DO know of multiple self reported NCAA violations that happened under Miller's watch, which by NCAA rules he IS responsible for. I suspect that is what they will focus on, if anything.

Book obviously has proof where he put the money and where he spent it if the alleged player is playing ball.
