You start dipping into the college football landscape & this thing would get out of hand.  There isn't one of 3,000 D-1 players on scholarship that hasn't received "something" for attending school.

So, a video was played in court of Dawkins on a yacht where he is claiming had conversations with Miller about paying players. He is going to try and convince the judge tomorrow to change his mind about having Miller take the stand.  This is still just hearsay. Wake me up when they actually have proof & play a tape of Miller saying this.

The first paragraph says it all... He is sharing his "believe" that Miller is cheating.  Well my kids still believe in Santa, the Easter bunny and tooth fairy!!  Please tell me we waited a year and a half to hear Dawkins on tape talking about how he "believes" Miller is cheating.  What a shit show!!

So Dawkins, who's now a convicted felon, says Miller talks all the time on the phone about paying players but the FBI didn't charge him with anything after recording all of their conversations for four months? Sure.

Dawkins is telling uncover FBI agents that Miller is paying players. You'd think that would cause them put Miller under a microscope. 423 days later and still not a peep from the FBI on Miller. How bout that?

The press is assuming today's testimony is true and printing crap again. CSM is getting the Trump treatment  by the press. Can you say NO Collusion? No Paying Players!
It is still a recording of two people talking about what CSM may have said. If that was the case and the FBI was listening in on all of these conversations, then why is it that they do not have one of CSM talking?

Defense apparently submitted motion to have testimony thrown out. Speculation based on opinion this is too good to make up

This trial is heading for derailment fast

Something to remember... the prosecution asked the judge to not let Miller testify. Why would it then turn around and incriminate Miller in wrongdoings? It didn’t.

Yesterday was pretty solid evidence that Miller never had a conversation with Dawkins the way that Dawkins portrays it. If he did, that conversation would’ve been played for the court.

Dawkins is bragging to someone he thinks has money. He’s trying to use whatever slim contact he had with Miller to bolster his image as a major player (to get the guy to invest). Ayton was the biggest name in college basketball... Dawkins saying Miller told him he wants him to come in and take over Ayton was meant to impress and get money from the dude.

I know a former D1 coach and several former players...I think the system is way corrupt but not in all of the obvious ways. I suspect very few players ever receive cash specifically for signing a letter of intent and the ones that do are the 5 star types. But I think it is over stated that 'everyone' cheats and 'everyone' is corrupt.

Not specifically cash...but future benefits, "fake" jobs during college, cars (lease OR gift), family housing, etc.

Everybody knows people that received at least one of the above for participating in collegiate athletics.  It isn't a secret that football is the most corrupt, yet basketball is getting the attention because it would be WAY too hard to investigate the amount of corruption on the football side.
