My sources tell me Sean Miller WILL be back next year! This is of course as long as no other negative news comes out regarding the wiretaps or anything new, but that's the plan. It hasn't officially been announced & he hasn't said it himself yet as he wants to concentrate on this year's team. So, contrary to the rumors of Miller wanting to leave to go back to Pitt, he's not going anywhere. Lorenzo Romar on the other hand is going to pursue a head coaching job at Pepperdine next season.

That's great news! I can't say Romar leaving is unexpected or sad. It may be that I don't know what he contributed beyond what any assistant coach would, but it seemed to me that we didn't see the huge impact we were expecting from him. This, of course, may have been because of Book's situation and ESPN's torpedo attack on the program.

Thatís a big if. I am guessing they mean negative news that has some backing on it though and not what just happened right?

Im fine with Romar leaving, althought its somewhat bittersweet. But it also makes me question if Book had been caught up because of Romar, as we  all know he committed violations at UW to get those great players (Fultz), what if Romar persuade Book to talk to people like he did to get recruits, and then got caught up. Personally, I think we'll be fine without Romar

Hearing Lorenzo Romar to Pepperdine is a done deal with the staff he wants pretty much already in place.

Just to hear the rumors that will swirl about the possibility of Miller leaving Arizona to go home and coach at Pitt. It will also be fun to see Miller's name pop on a bunch of "possible" replacements list.

Romar to Pepperdine.  Wow you called it early Wild.  Summer recruiting might be a bit tougher with an established assistant.
