This is Scheer at his best...he can't write negative articles or he will loose access. Read the rest of this stuff from this past week and you'll understand that he was desperate to write something with a positive spin to balance it out - and this is the best he could come up with.  No one one just walks into practice without Miller's OK so before we get all worked up about this spontaneous uprising in support of Miller, might want to find out what really happened.

So this was worse than what UNC did because...? it was only one player and not decades of teams????

Little Red-"The sky is falling, The sky is falling"

The press is way out of line on this crap and there is no accountability for them so they do pretty much what they want to without reservation. Then everyone gets all worked up over somethingvthat could actually be nothing, or very minor. I hate the negative image hanging over us right now, but due process shiuld play out before we do another knee jerk reaction. Book took money and is gone! We do not know if anything else really happened. It would look really bad if the school actually fired coaches only to find out that there was nothing done wrong.
Right now if I don't like Arizona, I float as many rumors out there as possible. You know, through the press.
Now, if the stuff comes back that the coach is guilty of the accusation then fire him. All abiut a clean name for Arizona.

My concern is that one assistant after another is getting accused of some sort of violation. Getting harder for me to believe these are all rumors and CSM had no idea what was going on.

Oh I agree that we have some issues, but I also see so much corruption in the system and what espn did was inexcusable. What the ncaa has done in a comparison of how it treats certain schools, conferences, etc... is inexcusable. The press uses their opinions as facts and do not care who they damage while covering up the failures of others. The ncaa does just about the same thing in enforcing rules heavy on some while doing nothing on others who commit much bigger infractions. The death of the ncaa as a governing body would please me deeply. It is as corrupt as the political face of our nation! That is a pretty low place to be. The press is total BS.
We will answer for the violations we have, but we need to settle down and wait to find out what violations we actually have committed. ABOR tends to knee jerk at times. The University has done the same a few times recently and should show patience until the facts are out. We should all do the same.

No doubt the ncaa is corrupt and passes out punishments with no real metric for violations. Clearly any power 5 program that wants to compete for championships is guilty of bending/breaking the rules. I am ready for the truth and getting this all behind us so we can move on.
