Arizona Vs Oregon discussion thread 2/24/2018 at 8:15pm on ESPN

Arizona will be facing Oregon on Saturday in front of a national television audience. As of right now it looks like they will be without Allonzo Trier who was suspended by the NCAA for trace amounts of the drug found in his system from his last suspension. Ira Lee is also out for Arizona as he suffered a concussion during the week and didn't travel with the team to Oregon. The Ducks are coming off a nice win over the slumping sun devils and come in as a 2 point favorite against a weakened Arizona squad. Hopefully the CATS can focus and overcome the distractions in an already tough environment. Let's talk about how you think the Wildcats will do against the Quacks tomorrow night.

Going to be a tough game for sure. Oregon is well coached and I really like Pritchard and Troy Brown. Elijah Brown averages double figures and is a 23 year old junior so he could look to take advantage of our younger guys. Part of me is worried about the cats coming out flat knowing they already secured the split and can clinch against Cal at home in McKale.

This is the most important game of the year (to date) this Saturday.
If we win this game, we will be a game from splitting the PAC-12 title and two wins would win it outright for us with USC able to finish at 13-5.
Even though we only played USC once, we can still tie.
I want to win it outright and this game against Oregon would put us at 13-3 and in a VERY good position to finish 15-3 and keeping everyone from the crown and the #1 seed in the PAC-12 tournament!

My oh my, what a difference a day makes--the season is virtually over. In all likelihood, all of this season's games will be vacated. If any of our players actually accepted money they should be rethinking their actions right about now--obviously the guilty coaches should too.Oh what a tangled mess we weave . . .
