Arizona Vs ASU game discussion thread 1/31/19 7pm ESPN2

The Wildcats are coming off another tough loss this time against UCLA. They are now 14-7 & 5-3 in the Pac12. They will be facing a 14-6 & 5-3 Asu team that is coming off a close loss to USC. . L. Dort is the leading scorer for UCLA averaging 16ppg. There is no game line out as of yet, but the ESPN match-up predictor only gives Arizona a 30.2% chance of winning.

Let's talk about how you think the Wildcats will do against the Sun devils on Thursday night.

We need to take this one or beat Washington.  We win this one and it takes the sting out of LA.

I've been reading some comments about seeing our team play more free...outside the confines of a controlled half court offense.  Our controlled half court offense was shite in LA.  It seems to me like we are still playing a half court style relying on 2 big men who no longer exist.

Come on Mr. Miller, nothing to lose now.  Shake it up.  Let the boys play ball, take the reigns off and let's see what happens.  Play super aggressive D, press and go all out.  ASU would not be expecting that style.  If we wear out and lose down the stretch that's ok.  I'd rather see us give them hell than watch us fold in the first 5 min ala the SoCal trip.

Give DD more time, love his aggressive D.  Yeah, he got wild and lost the ball but so what, he's a freshman.  Let him learn.  There is no longer the suffocating pressure of UA expectations.  We are expected to lose at ASU.

I'm starting to see the big complaint with Miller.  He's so rigid.  He's got a hammer and everything is a nail.

Starting 5. Williams will not play due to injury and Jeter to come off the bench.
