Omar Thielemans is now considered a 4-star prospect (No. 103 overall) Arizona's recruiting class is now ranked 46th in the country. (International recruits are not ranked until they commit.)

Any specific questions you guys want me to ask Omar?

1. What role did they tell you you would be playing next season?
2. Were there any former players they pointed to show you how we would use you?
3. What goals/expectations do you have for yourself going into next season?

Now we have a SF prospect for 1-2 years, I am definitely excited about next season now.
The way Miller has used our 6'6-6'8 SFs has always been beneficial for us to maximize our potential on both ends of the floor.
Using them like a Swiss army knife to fill multiple voids on both offense and defense has always been nice.

Welcome to the family that is Arizona Omar!
We are all happy you chose Arizona and hope you achieve greatness here.

After watching all of the highlights to be found, Iím going to throw out the Solomon Hill comparison. Iím sure he and Akot will have some great battles and it will be interesting to see how they play together!! He seems to be a humble and intelligent dude!! The optimism is building back up!! Bear Down Omar!!!

Here are some interesting quotes that I got from the article.
I thought we would like to see Omar's direct response on certain questions that we all have in mind.

About committing following his official visit:
"I just committed," Thielemans said. "The visit was crazy. I didnít expect the campus to be so big. The coaching staff impressed me with strength and conditioning. The players were very welcoming. After the first day I was really convinced but after the second day I made my decision."

Regarding our history of having long, athletic SFs:
"Theyíve done a great job with players in my position," he said. "The opportunity for me is great because I can play the two, three and four."

Omar describing his game:
"I think I'm a versatile player," Thielemans said. "I don't really have a position; I can play the two, three and four. I think I can pass the ball pretty well and attack mismatches...I'm an unselfish player; stats don't matter to me as long as I make my team win. As a player I want to improve everyday but also make my teammates better because it's a brotherhood after all."
