More than a month later, it appears Cochran has changed his mind — the Plymouth, Michigan native announced on Twitter that he plans to return and play for the Wildcats after all.
"After talking (it) over with my coaches and my family, I feel that this is the best decision for me," Cochran wrote in a message posted to his private Twitter account. "I can't wait to get back and work with my team. Thank you to the coaching staff for allowing me to come back."
Cochran came to Arizona as one of the most highly-regarded recruits in its 2016 recruiting class, a three-star defensive end with offers from Michigan State. With the Wildcats, Cochran — listed at 6-3 and 240 pounds — had been getting groomed to play in the "stud" linebacker role, which is a hybrid of a defensive end and outside linebacker. Click here for full story
