Arizona Vs ASU 🏈 game discussion thread 11/30/19 at 8pm on ESPN

The Arizona Wildcats began the season at 4-1 but then they remembered that they suck and haven't won a game since. Arizona comes in having lost their last six games in a row. The defense has been their downfall all year but even more so of late as the Wildcats have allowed 43 ppg during their six-game slide. It has actually played better of late, but still, Arizona has allowed 69 points in their last two games. The defense could be in for a long game against an ASU offense that has averaged 30.8 ppg over their last four games. ASU is off a 35-7 loss to Oregon and they were outgained 517-196 in the contest. That is just pathetic. Arizona State now ranks 127th in total defense, 128th against the pass, 84th against the run and 122nd in points allowed, giving up 36.8 ppg on the year.

The Arizona offense has been pretty decent for the most part as they enter this game ranked 34th in total offense 36th in passing, 49th in rushing but they are just 76th in scoring, putting up just 28.1 ppg. With the way their defense has been playing, the Wildcats will nee much more offense than that if they hope to pull off the upset in this one. The Cats had just 196 yards of total offense in the loss to the Ducks, including just 61 yards on the ground. Khalil Tate has not had the year he was expecting to as he has thrown for 1722 yards with 12 TDs and eight INTs. He has also run for 335 yards and three TD. Take has thrown for 414 yards with three TDs and an INT in his career against the Sun Devils.

Arizona State Sun Devils got a huge win upsetting Oregon at home by a score of 31-28. ASU was dogs of 13 in the contest. The win also gave the Sun Devils the six wins they needed to reach bowl eligibility and they will now look to finish the regular season on a high note. The Oregon defense had allowed 31 or more points just twice all year until the Sun Devils scored 31 last week. ASU piled up 535 yards of total offense in the game, including 408 through the air. Jayden Daniels threw for all 408 yards while posting three TDs and no INTs. He has thrown for 2644 yards with 17 TDs and just two INTs and will now be facing the 128th ranked pass defense in the nation.

Arizona State comes in ranked 85th in total offense, 37th in passing, 122nd in rushing and 90th in scoring at 25.3. You can expect the Sun Devils to try and torch the Arizona secondary. The defense has been solid overall as Arizona State comes in ranked 61st in total defense 21st against the run and 44th in points allow3d at 23.9 ppg. Their 115th ranked pass defense could have some struggles against Arizona's 36th ranked passing game. The win for the Sun Devils ended a four-game slide they were on and the 28 points the gave up to Oregon was the fewest the Ducks had scored in their previous five games.

Asu is a -13.5 point favorite.

Let's talk about how you think the CATS will do against the Scum Devils.

BEARDOWN!!!

One cannot be disappointed when doesn't expect to win; that said being a 13.5 underdog is a bit much and I would confidently put my $$$$ on The Wildcats.  BEARDOWN DAMN IT
