The good news is that the official announced crowd at Arizona Stadium was 51,002. The fan experience was also much improved with beer, eegees, & a lot more food options.

Up next Arizona plays at Houston next Saturday at 9am on ESPN2.

That was no fun.  :-\\    Didn't like the energy of the Arizona players, they didn't look like they were having fun and the 1st quarter, OMG.  We have to score, that killed all momentum.

My 2 cents. Arizona got man handled on both sides of the Line. The OC called terrible plays all game. If Khalil Tate was utilized in the read option in a few key moments. We would've won the game. Very frustrating loss. With that being said. I'm really hoping we add the read option and let Khalil do what he does best. We'll see what happens next week.

Fell "just short??"  We got whooped and pushed around.  Final score does not indicate how much man-handling we took on the defensive side of the ball.  If it were not for some luck on the penalty front, we would have lost by double digits easily.

Defensively, our line is going to potentially be a mess all season.  Fields and Schooler can't make every stop themselves if we think we can compete in the South.

That...and we have to let Tate do his thing...which includes showcasing his athleticism (both his arm AND HIS LEGS!)

all true. Our D line makes me depressed. I was thinking our O line was gonna be a complete mess with penalties and no protection for tate, but they did surprisingly well. The gave tate good time to throw and made decent lanes for JJ. Now I love JJ, but he got single arm tackled by every single BYU player. Granted he probably weighs as much a one of those BYU defensive linemens arm.

I won't talk about game strategy, because that would imply there was one.

JJ is an open field player. Last year he had lanes to run in where he could use his natural ability. Last night the lanes were few and far between.
BYU's entire frt 7 returned on D. They were huge in the middle and hard to move. Our line just was not able to do the job. Get ready for next week. Still no Layth. Maybe no Nathan. What we had last night is what we may have next week agai st some future NFL guys. I said it would likely be close and lower scoring and it was. If Tate had let loose we may have won, but that was not the ga.e plan KS wanted. Last thing we need right now is to loose KT.
On the other hand if we are n ot using his talents to get wins it really doesn't matter much.

I feel losing to BYU will be the wake up call needed to help us best Houston & get things back on track this weekend. #BearDown
