Saw some early predictions of 9-3 already. While I believe the potential is there to even win the South this year, remember that the OL will have 4 new starters for the first two games against decent teams before Friekh returns to the line up. Wish we could change that schedule just a bit in order of games played.
The teams predicted to beat us were USC, Utah,  and Oregon.

All 3 of which are perennially overrated, and two of which play us here.  I am not saying we beat all 3, I believe we will have Utah this year, and will not lose both USC and Oregon in Arizona stadium.  Now I'm not saying we go any better than 9-3 either, I honestly don't know what to expect from Sumlin.  History says we lose a game or two to someone we should beat, but I don't think you coach at T A&M if you can't win the easy ones.  So, I'm worried about Houston without Friehk, and either USC or Oregon, not both.  Oddly my other concerns are Oregon State and Washington State, not because we shouldn't have our way with them, but those are trips that have not went well for us in the past few years.

9 wins is realistic after the bowl season.

I'm optimistic that the Cats will reach the first Rose Bowl on 1/1/20.

With Tate returning as a Senior...and 51 Juniors on the roster...we will be STACKED next year.
